Lawrence M. Dell, M.D.

Dr. Lawrence Dell’s experience includes 25 years of urgent care work. He is the Medical Director of Wayne County Employees’ Retirement System. He is the Owner/Director of Internal Medicine & Primary Care Specialists where he teaches medical residents and students.
“Lakes Urgent Care is open almost 100 hours every week,” said Dr. Dell. “We provide our patients with a state-of-the-art medical facility and compassionate and caring physicians and staff. In addition to following up with a patient’s primary care doctor, we often call our patients to follow up on the treatment we provided along with any updates on their test results.”
Dr. Dell attended the University of Michigan for both his honors undergraduate degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology and dual degree in Human Nutrition. He completed his medical degree at the University of Michigan and his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Illinois.
Since joining and starting a group practice, Dr. Dell has participated in various aspects of medicine including Medical Director of two local nursing homes, Medical Director of two Hospice Organizations (Karmanos and Visiting Nurse Association). He served at MPRO as a Physician Reviewer and as a member of the Utilization Review Department at both Woodland Medical Center and Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital (HVSH). He also served on the HVSH medical executive committee as well as the morbidity and mortality committee and enjoys attending its tumor board.
Dr. Dell is a member of the Oakland County Medical Society, the Michigan State Medical Society, and the American College of Physicians, Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity, the Shriners, Masons, the University of Michigan Alumni Association and Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
Dr. Dell was born in Windsor, Ontario and moved to the Detroit area at age ten. He graduated from Southfield High School as a Blue Jay earning letters in tennis and was the National Honors Society president.
Dr. Dell is married and has three children and two dogs. Together they enjoy winter sports, travel, photography, Broadway Theater and music. Dr. Dell plays team softball and Whirlyball. He likes to golf and is an avid reader. Dr. Dell has recently embraced a vegan lifestyle. He is most proud of his ability to listen.
Ericka Ditty, RN
Lakes Urgent Care Manager, Clinical Coordinator

Ericka Ditty joined Lakes Urgent Care in 2008 and now oversees patient care at our West Bloomfield and Livonia locations. She started her nursing studies at Oakland University and finished her clinical rotations at Schoolcraft College in 2020 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a Clinical Excellence Award as voted by her professors.
Ericka has a passion for teaching nursing skills and is a member of the American Nurses Association. When she is not working Ericka enjoys gardening, Pilates, and checking out new restaurants with her husband.
Loren Chudler, D.O.

Loren Chudler, D.O., is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Chudler earned a BA in Chemistry from Michigan State University in 1991 and received his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. Dr. Chudler has over 20 years’ experience working in the field of urgent care and family medicine. He is a clinical faculty member at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Chudler grew up in West Bloomfield, Michigan and enjoys traveling adventures, coaching football and wrestling, and spending time with his family.
Dean Burklund, M.S., PA‑C

Dean Burklund, M.S., PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant and has been on staff at Lakes Urgent Care since 2011. He received his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies in 2006 from Wayne State University and received his Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences from Michigan State University in 1989. He is a current member of the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Michigan Association of Physician Assistants (MAPA). Dean has a special interest in preventative care and urgent care medicine.
Kristen Krueger, M.S., PA‑C

Kristen Krueger, M.S., PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant and has been on staff at Lakes Urgent Care since 2006. “I enjoy working at Lakes Urgent Care because with every patient, we try to provide the best possible medical care in a very friendly and resourceful environment,” said Kristen. She received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies in 2004 from Wayne State University and received her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences in 2002. She is a current member of the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Michigan Association of Physician Assistants (MAPA). Kristen has a special interest in preventative care and women’s health care. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys reading novels, watching movies and most of all, spending time with her husband and young son.
